May to me is always flower month. I actually have more flowers in my garden during the summer, but I can never get an old phrase out of my head. "April showers bring May flowers..." Now, roses are usually a summer flower, but this year, my miniature rose bush, which is small enough that it sits on the kitchen table, has already bloomed. Roses are also one of my favorite flowers, hence this designs - two peyote rose graphs.
I haven't actually made anything with either of these designs, but I suspect that the larger rose would look great on an amulet bag. I still have no idea what to use the smaller one for. If anyone has any ideas, or makes something with either of these designs, let me know! I'd love to put an image of a finished piece up for others to see! The colors in these graphs were chosen for contrast so that the stitches could be made out fairly easily - Choose your own colors so they blend well, such as all yellows or all reds.
